Capacity Building and Cultural & Social Events Programme

Through capacity building activities, and cultural social activities, May 17 aims to provide the LGBTI+ community with safe spaces free of any sorts discriminatory practices and hate speech.

As a result of the recently growing oppression of the LGBTI+ community and activism, May 17 provides support in areas, such as capacity building, financial and administrative affairs, advocacy and digital safety for the sustainability of LGBTI+ associations.

Within the scope of its support program, May 17 aims to create a pool of experts that work for LGBTI+ movement either on a professional or on a voluntary basis. Through the pool of experts, May 17 aims to offer help in diverse areas, such as finance, capacity building, accounting, project cycle management, volunteer engagement, administrative procedures, and corporate communications.
